Dan and Ashlyn Perry

Centennial Leadership Cabinet Co-Chairs

Dan and Ashlyn Perry

Dan & Ashlyn Perry moved full time to Santa Fe in 2011 from San Antonio. Their move was the fulfillment of a long term dream to live in a creative, open-minded and diverse community, where art and culture greet you everywhere. Dan continues his 30+ year oil and gas law and mineral management practice, and Ashlyn pursues her avocation of design, particularly with mid-century modern furniture and other curated objects. Dan has two daughters in their 20s who reside in San Antonio, Paige Perry (a first grade teacher), and Peyton Perry (an advertising executive). Ashlyn has a daughter in her 20s, McCaela Kelly (an archaeologist and anthropologist), who is married to Aaron Miley, a U.S. Army Captain and Westpoint alumnus. Dan & Ashlyn own the Trout Stalker Ranch near Chama, NM, where they raise bison, watch over 200 species of birds, fish for trout and hunt for elk, and play with their red heeler, Rowdy. Ashlyn served two terms on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters ofNorthern New Mexico, is a Director of the Western Landowners’ Alliance, and is a City of Santa Fe Arts Commissioner appointed by Mayor Javier Gonzales. Dan is a Vice-Chair of the Museum of New Mexico Foundation, a Director of the Santa Fe Opera, and serves as President and a Director of the New Mexico Habitat Conservation Initiative. Dan and Ashlyn have an eclectic art collection, including Native American art, Mexican folk art and contemporary art. Dan and Ashlyn are Governor’s Circle members.
