Party of the Century

Saturday, May 5

On Saturday, May 5, the Museum of New Mexico Foundation’s “Party of the Century” gala celebration commemorates the New Mexico Museum of Art’s 100-year anniversary with happenings in two places and spaces. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to support the museum’s past and future in one entertaining evening.

The revelry begins with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and entertainment in the museum’s historic 1917 building, the architectural landmark that launched Santa Fe as an international art destination. Guests move next to the future Vladem Contemporary in the Railyard for a once-in-a-century dinner party.

Attractive sponsorship packages and event tickets are available now through the Foundation. For information or to purchase tickets, contact Yvonne Montoya at 505.982.6366 ext. 102 or yvonne@museumfoundation.org.

There is a glorious future for art in the Southwest—for art in America. Fortunate are we to have some part in it. - Dr. Edgar L. Hewett, Museum of New Mexico Director, November 24, 1917 (Opening of the Art Gallery of the Museum of New Mexico, today’s New Mexico Museum of Art)

The historic Halpin State Records Center will be transformed into a new space for contemporary art at the Santa Fe Railyard set to open in 2020.
